Dear Friends and Valued Customers of Brasstown Beef,
Over the last several years we have had the great pleasure of sharing our premium, grass-fed beef with consumers across the US. Though that was never our goal, we were happy to bring that farm-to-table experience to you.
With consumers now living in a world where placing an order online with the expectation of it arriving the next day is now the norm, we have met our share of challenges. Delays with third-party carriers coupled with hotter temperatures have made shipping to certain areas almost impossible for us to maintain our high standards of quality among our products.
That being said, we have made the difficult decision to modify the ways in which we ship our products. We have divided the states into shipping tiers or zones, and have modified the shipping methods that we offer. Where we once offered 2nd Day Air as the standard, we have had to move to the 2-day Ground network and other services to help offset some of the increased prices of shipping.
Please refer to our Shipping Zone Map to see the updates. We are aware that the move to Next Day Air on the west coast may cause some hardships for some of our loyal customers living there, we do apologize. We understand that we may lose some valued customers, but we do hope you understand the difficult decisions we have had to make. These shipping changes will go into effect on September 5th after the $250 Free Shipping promo ends.
Additionally, orders less than $100, not including tax or shipping, and/or that have less than 5 items may be subject to cancellation as the logistics of shipping such a small order is not cost effective. This shipping change will go into effect immediately.
