To reflect our new updated shipping days of Monday and Tuesday only, please plan accordingly so that you allow for shorter shipping timeframes.  Customers wanting to place their orders for both the Christmas and New Year's holiday must do so no later than Noon, on Tuesday, December 15th.

We will process orders on Monday, December 21st and Monday, December 28th, however, they are not guaranteed for holiday delivery as we may not be able to process and ship all orders received before then due to order volume.

That depends, like many websites, our site is set up so that only certain discounts can apply to orders at one time.  For instance, if you qualify for the "$200 free shipping" or other cart-level discounts (ie: 10% Off orders of $200 or more), then your coupon code (ie: THANK... or MW...) will not work.  If there are %-Off discounts running, additional codes will not be honored at that time whether you qualify for it or not.  Once those discounts end, your coupon code along with the "Free Shipping" will work. At this time, coupon codes will work on orders less than $200.00.  The site is set up so that you receive the best discounts for your order at that time.


Sorry, but no.  Each order has only 1 shipping option.  Your shipping rate, whether you qualify for the FREE Shipping or a paid shipping amount is to one address only.  If it's easier for you, we also offer Gift Certificates that you can send to friends and family that can be used online.  If you are wanting to purchase a Gift Certificate to be used in one of our retail locations, you will need to reach out to one of the stores directly and pay by phone, or in person.  Their phone numbers can be found on our Local Retail page.


I received a Gift Certificate by email, can I use it in your local retail stores?  Unfortunately, no...online gift certificates are only valid and redeemable on our website and those gift certificates purchased in our local retail stores can only be used at the stores.  They operate on two different systems so we have no way to reimburse one from the other location.


Kindly visit our Whole Cow Order page for pricing and details.  Turn-around time on purchasing 1/4, 1/2 or Whole Cows is approximately 7-10 days if picking up at our Franklin location.  If you would like to pick up at our Farm Store in Brasstown, please add an additional 2 days so that we can arrange transport of your order there.  Please note that a $100 deposit is due when you submit your order form.  Our office manager will reach out to you to arrange payment.  Should you have additional questions or cannot download the form, Contact Us and we'll email you the form.


Your order may arrive fresh, frozen, or flash-frozen (not frozen solid).  As demand has been so high for beef as of late (COVID-19), we are doing our best to keep up.  Most times we are cutting the products fresh prior to delivery and flash-freezing them a day or two ahead prior to shipment.  Therefor, it is possible that you will receive a mixture of both fresh-cut products and frozen products in one order.  Please know that with the packaging and coolers that we use, all of our products will arrive fresh to your door.  Once your order arrives, the beef may be frozen upon receiving or eaten right away, that's up to you.  During "normal economic conditions", however, our products would arrive frozen.


Yes!  We are a local company with our headquarters in Franklin, North Carolina and our cattle are raised right here in the Western Foothills and Mountains of Cherokee County at Ridgefield Farm in Brasstown, North Carolina.  We have additional farms here in the southeast that also raise Brasstown cattle to the high standards we hold our premium beef to.  Our processors are located in Georgia just south of our farm and everything is kept right here in the good 'ol USA.  Nothing is EVER exported or imported from other countries.


If you are wanting to place a "same day" order, we advise you visit our local stores directly to ensure they have the cuts and quantity you are wanting.  We currently do not accept "phone orders" or "pre-sale" orders of any kind due to demand.  Our retail locations operate on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Customers wanting to place orders online and pickup in store must do so at least 24 business hours in advance to give us the opportunity to confirm the items you are wanting are available as well as time to pack it for you.  One of our associates will contact you to confirm your order and arrange for a pickup time; please wait to pickup your order until we contact you.

SHIPPING (COVID-19 Shipping Update Overrides our 'normal business' process)

We are currently offering FREE SHIPPING on orders of at least $200 to the 48 contiguous states.  At this time we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or the US Virgin Islands.

We process and ship orders from our Franklin location within 1-2 business days once received.  We utilize a variety of services provided by UPS, therefore, shipping addresses must be to a physical location, no PO Boxes are allowed, sorry.  Once your order has been packed and a UPS label printed, you will receive your UPS Tracking Number via email.

COVID-19 SHIPPING UPDATE: With the increased demand of shipments during this pandemic we have had to modify our shipping times to allow for carrier delays.  Therefor, we have altered our processing and shipping days to Monday and Tuesday's only.  We will be shipping orders via UPS 2nd Day Air.  Orders received after 1pm on Tuesday, will ship out the following week.  We kindly ask that you plan accordingly as we cannot guarantee delivery times.  So if you have a special event coming up, please order well in advance, as UPS does not even guarantee their 1-day or Overnight delivery times at this point.  We greatly appreciate your kind understanding with this and look forward to shipping you some great Brasstown Beef products soon!
